Masahiro Taima
Founder | CEO | Ph.D.
Completed a Ph.D. in Urban Engineering at the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. Served as project assistant professor at Keio University and Kyoto University and visiting researcher at University College London and Peking University, working on architectural and civil planning and analysis.
Harsh Chandra
AI Research Scientist | Ph.D.
Graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, then completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tokyo. After research at Caltech and a research internship at NEC, worked on AI/ML development at Fast Accounting and AIRUCA, including edge AI, multilingual VLM/OCR, and foundation vision models.
Jikai Li
AI Research Scientist | Ph.D.
Completed a Ph.D. in Electrical and Information Engineering at Niigata University. After research internships at NTT Laboratories and elsewhere, worked as a data scientist at Toggle Holdings. Specializes in deep learning, image processing, and GIS.
Hiroki Yoda
Applied AI Lead
Completed a master's degree in Mathematics at the University of Tsukuba and advanced to the doctoral program, then worked as an AI engineer at Kai and Sensyn Robotics. Builds AI algorithms across the board, with a focus on image processing.

Graduated from the School of Social Sciences, Waseda University. After working as a freelance web engineer, served as director and COO of CroMen, running the business. Works on web development and business automation with AI.

Graduated from the School of Information and Communication Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Worked on backend and mobile app development and as bridge SE/PM at FPT Software, Bravesoft, and Hybrid Technologies. Drives product development in Japanese, English, and Vietnamese.

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, the University of Tokyo. At Nomura Research Institute, Microsoft, SoftBank, Cybereason, FIXER, favy, and others, worked on FP&A duties such as business planning, budget management, and KPI analysis, as well as corporate finance duties including fundraising and IPO preparation.

Yasushi Ikeda

Specializes in architectural informatics, computational design, and digital construction. Architect and representative of IKDS (Yasushi Ikeda Design Studio). Has served as professor at the Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University, founding president of the Architectural Informatics Society, and director of the Architectural Institute of Japan. In 2026, became the first Japanese recipient of the Sasada Prize, the highest honor of the international academic society CAADRIA.

Yusuke Asakura
Co-representative of Signifiant Inc., providing management support for startups and industrial finance services. After jockey school and racehorse training, graduated from the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, and joined McKinsey & Company. Founded Naked Technology while at university and served as its representative; after selling it to mixi, served as mixi's CEO. After restoring performance, stepped down and, following a visiting scholar position at Stanford University, co-founded Signifiant. Also serves as visiting researcher at GRIPS, outside director of Septeni Holdings, and partner at Tokyo Founders Fund. Author of "The Analects, the Abacus, and Me" and "Finance Thinking".
Nobuhiro Ariyasu
Co-founder of Tokyo Founders Fund, specializing in angel investment. After Unilever Japan, founded a C2C marketplace for lessons in 2007 and sold the entire company to Cookpad in 2013. Co-founded Tokyo Founders Fund in 2015. Also invests as an angel, including in Silicon Valley startups. His roughly 130 portfolio companies across Japan and the U.S. include Money Forward, CADDi, Kanmu, NOT A HOTEL, and Reiwa Travel. Graduated from Keio University SFC.
Reimu Sugita
MBA. Founder and former COO of Clintal Inc. Currently serves as outside director of ITOKURO and Ayumi Pharmaceutical, among others, and as part-time lecturer at the University of Tsukuba. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Tokyo. After residencies at NTT Medical Center Tokyo and the University of Tokyo Hospital, joined a domestic consulting firm tackling social issues. After earning an MBA at Duke University's business school, joined Boston Consulting Group. Founded Clintal in 2015 with the aim of bringing better healthcare to patients; became COO when the company was acquired by JMDC in 2018, experienced a TSE Mothers listing, and stepped down in 2022.
