mign Inc. (headquartered in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masahiro Taima), a developer of software for the architecture and civil engineering industries built on cutting-edge technologies such as AI and VR, is pleased to announce that it has been accepted into “Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub,” the startup support program run by Microsoft Corporation (headquartered in Washington State, USA; hereinafter “Microsoft”).

Our track record already includes a number of such initiatives. We added new features to “studiffuse,” our image-generation service for buildings and structures, by integrating it with two technologies that have drawn wide attention at the cutting edge of the field: the AI chatbot “ChatGPT” and the image-generation AI software “Stable Diffusion.” We launched “chact,” a natural-language model specialized for the construction domain, created by training the language model behind “ChatGPT” on construction-related laws and regulations. And we extended “chact” with a ChatGPT-powered capability for resolving errors and troubleshooting issues in construction software such as BIM/CIM (Building/Construction Information Modeling: an approach that introduces 3D models to make information sharing easier and to streamline construction production and management systems).

With our acceptance into the “Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub,” we can now make use of Microsoft’s cloud platform “Azure” and other resources. Working together with Microsoft, we aim to expand our business even further.

The Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub is a startup support program run by Microsoft and available globally in more than 140 countries.

The program is designed to accelerate the growth of startups with innovative solutions. Companies accepted into the program gain access to technologies including Azure and OpenAI, along with dedicated resources for scaling their business, drawing on Microsoft’s partner network.
